121 Brigade HQ with Sponsor’s Support Gifts New House to Civilian

Troops of the 121 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - Central with the financial support provided by Basnayake Nilame of the Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Devalaya built a new house for the underprivileged family of Mr Y.M Jayarathne living in the Wellassa Grama Seva Division in Moneragala and vested it in the family on Monday (15) during a simple ceremony, adhering to health guidelines.

121 Brigade troops provided manpower, engineering and technical expertise for construction of this new house to the underprivileged family of Mr Y.M Jayaratne as one more community project of the 121 Brigade HQ.

A brief ceremony, attended by the sponsor, Mr. Dilshan Gunasekara, Basnayake Nilame of the Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Devalaya, Major General Samantha Silva, Commander, Security Forces - Central, Major General Prasanna Ranawaka, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division, Brigadier D.U.N Serasinghe, Commander, 121 Brigade saw the keys of the new house delivered to the beneficiary in the presence of family members and relatives.
