Under the guidance of Commander, Security Forces (East) Major General S.A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Major H.M.V.P Herath, the Commanding Officer of 12th Regiment of Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) organized a delicious lunch treat on 18 June 2024 in line with the Poson Full Moon Poya Day at Muruthana Sri Murugan College premises.
This community support event was organized with the aim of developing harmony and reconciliation between Security Forces and the public. Nearly 450 local residents including students, teachers and the parents of Pondukachchena Ghanapati College and Muruthana Sri Murugan College benefited from the project.
Major General W.P Kariyawasam, General Officer Commanding of 23 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers, Police Officers, Other Ranks and the principals participated in the event.
