The 12 Division HQ in Hambantota extended their best cooperation for the smooth conduct of the recent ‘Esala Perahera’ in Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Devalaya. 3 Sri Lanka National Guard and 9 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps troops under command to the Division and Security Forces Headquarters-Central provided security and management support respectively in collaboration with government agencies.
On the directions of Major General Samantha Silva, Commander, Security Forces-Central, Major General Lanka Amarapala, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division closely supervised all relevant matters pertaining to the ‘Esala Perahera’ in Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Devalaya.
