12 Division Troops Support Conduct of Religious Events

3 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops serving the 12 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) on Wednesday (25) extended their support for conduct of the Gammadu rituals at Kataragama Devale premises.

It was meant to invoke blessings on all Sri Lankans, inclusive of the government and its tri services and the Police.

Meanwhile, 23 Gajaba Regiment (GR) and 3 SLNG troops of the 12 Division, gave their support  to hold the Ruhunu Perahera of the Pannagamuwa Diyabedi Temple, Kataragama, held on Thursday (26).

Troops prepared 1500 food packets for distribution among dancers after receiving dry rations from the temple’s chief incumbent.
