Army troops of the 111 Brigade of the 11 Division under command to the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) took immediate steps to bring a spreading fire under control in a three-storied house along the Sri Sangaraja Mawatha in Kandy on Saturday (17).
Troops of 2 (V) Sinha Regiment, together with 10 Gajaba Regiment troops and Lifeguard Officials at Kandy Police controlled the fire.
