In parallel with the ongoing island-wide Dengue prevention campaign, troops of the 111 Brigade under the 11 Division carried out a cleaning project on Saturday (13) in the general areas of Dodamwala, Muruthalawa, Mahakanda and Kengalla with the support of Health Inspectors and civilians.
This event was conducted on the directions of the General Officer Commanding 11 Division, and under the supervision of the Commander 111 Brigade, in order to rid the area of any Dengue outbreak threat as monsoon rains have set in.
