11,056 Quarantined Individuals Have So Far Left for Their Homes-NOCPCO

15 individuals who underwent quarantining at tri service-managed Panichchankerni (7) and Rajagiriya Ayurveda Hospital (8) Quarantine Centres after conduct of PCR tests on them left for their residences today (29) with Quarantine Certificates. Accordingly, by today (29), a total of 11,056 individuals quarantined in tri service-managed Quarantine Centres (QC) have left for their homes, a statement issued by the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak NOCPCO stated.

As of now, 5,154 persons are still in quarantine in island-wide 44 QCs, run by tri services. By today (29), heroic sailors of the Navy confirmed positive to the COVID-19 virus stands at 708 in total, including 26 sailors reported in the past 24 hours.
