The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) Inter Battalion Athletic Meet - 2024 got underway at the Sports Complex, Digana on 02 and 03 March 2024 with the participation of 275 athletes, representing the Battalions of SLSR.
Major General W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP, Director General, Directorate of the Movement, graced the commencing ceremony of the athletic meet as the chief guest on 02 March 2024. 11 (V) SLSR emerged victorious, securing the first place with 174 points, followed by 2 (V) SLSR in second place with 103 points, and 16 SLSR in third place with 100 points.
Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commander, Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) and Colonel of the Regiment of SLSR graced the closing ceremony and certificates awarding ceremony as the chief guest on 03 March 2024.
Brigadier C.S Thibbotuge, Centre Commandant of SLSR, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the awarding ceremony.
