11 SLSR Troops Build New House for a Needy Family

The troops of the 11 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (11 SLSR), constructed a new house for a needy family in the Kaththankudi area. The housewarming ceremony was held on 02 April 2024.

With sponsorship received from donors in the area, the house was built by the troops of the 11 SLSR under the supervision of Major D.M.N Pathmasiri, the Commanding Officer of the 11 SLSR.

During a brief ceremony, the house key was handed over to the family by Major General W. Chandrasiri RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division.

The Brigade Commander of the 243 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and a few villagers, were present at the occasion.
