11 SLSR Troops in 231 Brigade Begin to Erect a House for Another Needy Family

11 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) troops under command to the 231 Brigade of the 23 Division of the Security Force HQ - East on Wednesday(1) laid the foundation stone to construct a new house for a needy family in Bakki Ella area in Batticaloa.

Mr Chandana Gunawardena, a veteran psychologist and a preacher has agreed to sponsor the construction. Troops of 11 SLSR will construct the house with their manpower and the technical expertise of the Corps of Engineer Service troops would also be used for the project.

Colonel Dulipa Bandara, Commander 231 Brigade, Commanding Officer 11 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Mr Chandana Gunawardena, a veteran psychologist and few officers attended the venue by adhering to heath guidelines.
