The troops of the 11 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) organized a school accessories distribution programme for 125 needy students in Jaffna, Kareinagar on 28 January 2024 at Cultural Hall in Kareinagar.
The benefited students were selected with the close coordination of respective Principals and Gramaniladaris of the area. The ‘Sri Murunkan Pradipaloka Program - Kurunagala’ provided much - needed financial generosity for the event.
The initiative was got underway under the guidance of Major K.V.S.S Vithanage USP Commanding Officer of 11 Sri Lanka Light Infantry. Senior Officers, Officers, members of Sri Murunkan Pradipaloka Programme - Kurunagala, parents of the students participated in the donation programme.
