11 Infantry Division Troops Participate in Blood Donation Campaign

Troops from the 11 Infantry Division participated in a blood donation programme organized by the Community Society of Digana at the Silver Cross Medical Centre on 12 October 2024.

Under the direction of Major General K.A.U Kodithuwakku RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of the 11 Infantry Division, troops of 11 Infantry Division coordinate the Civilians from the area to donated blood during the event.

Medical teams from the Blood Bank of the District General Hospital, Kandy, ensured the smooth and successful execution of the blood donation drive, which further strengthened the collaboration between the military and the local community.
