The 11 Infantry Division commemorated its 15th Anniversary amidst religious and military formalities under the guidance of Major General K.A.U Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 11 Infantry Division, on 14 February 2025 at the Division Headquarters.
In accordance with military traditions, the GOC was accorded a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour upon arrival, followed by troops address. Marking the occasion, he inaugurated the newly deployed 130mm artillery gun in front of the office complex.
The celebrations concluded with an All-Ranks lunch. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the Anniversary celebrations.
