Major General R.M.M Ranasinghe WWV RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 11 Infantry Division continuing his familiarization visits arrived at the 19 Sri Lanka National Guard (19 SLNG) camp serving areas in Lakshapana during 4-5 October with the intention of inquiring about the well-being of the troops.
The Commanding Officer of 19 SLNG warmly welcomed the recently-appointed 11 Infantry Division's GOC and briefed him about the role and tasks of the Battalion before he addressed the troops. Further, he inspected the camp premises and soldiers' accommodation facilities.
In addition, he received blessings at Sri Padasthanaya temple, Sri Saman Devalaya and visited the Lakshapana Power Plant during the tour. Several Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were associated with the visits.
