The Battalion Training Course (BTC) of the 11Gemunu Watch was completed at the Battalion Training School, Kalyanipura on Tuesday (20 June).
10 Officers and 301 Other Ranks followed the BTC, started on Tuesday (02 May) and ended on June 20, 2023 with the closing remarks of the Commander, Security Forces -Wanni, Major General C.D. Ranasinghe RWP RSP.
In his brief address to the occasion, the Chief Guest underlined the importance of battalion training amidst numerous constraints before he awarded certificates and trophies to those who excelled during the course.
Major General R.A.J.N Ranasinghe RSP USP ndc, General Officer Commanding, 62 Infantry Division, Commanders of 621 and 623 Infantry Brigades, Chief Instructor, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks witnessed the closing ceremony.
