3 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) and 19 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops of the 11 Division under command to the Security Force Headquarters - Central carried out Dengue prevention campaigns in the general urban areas of Nuwara Eliya, Hatton - Dikoya during 19-20 June.
Troops searched for mosquito breeding grounds and cleaned possible vulnerable places. Troops on the guidelines given by Major General Keerthi Costa, Commander, Security Forces - Central carried out the work on the instructions of Major General Jaliya Senarathna, General Officer Commanding, 11 Division and Commanding Officers of the battalions.
