A programme to provide 11 Division HQ troops with deeper insights into psychological dimensions and psychiatric well-being, Major General Kithsiri Liyanage, General Officer Commanding, 11 Division HQ on 15 September 2021 launched a lecture session in collaboration with ‘Linea Clothing Pvt Ltd’ in Pallekele whose psychotherapist and counselor Dr Chaminda Weerasiriwardana and Counsellor Ms Swarna Ekanayake conducted a full-day counselling workshop for a representative gathering of troops serving the Division.
The main aim of this workshop was to help relieve mental stress of All Ranks participating and identify those tendencies at the formative stage. The informative programme received the blessings of Major General Vikum Liyanage, Commander, Security Forces- Central.
Towards the end, those lecturers were awarded special mementos as tokens of gratitude.
