Troops of the 11 Division, commanded by Major General Kithsiri Liyanage, General Officer Commanding with the objective of assisting patients in Kandy Teaching Hospital and Matale Base Hospital, conducted a blood donation campaign at Trinity College, Kandy on Tuesday (27).
A group of Officers and Other Ranks serving the 11 Division from various Brigades, Training Schools and Units joined the day’s programme in line with the 81st birthday anniversary of late Lieutenant General Dencil Kobbekaduwa. It was coordinated by the OBA of Trinity College, Kandy as a tribute to his memory.
