Troops of the 11 Division under the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) conducted a medical clinic for the inmates at Bogambara prison on Wednesday (30) to be in line with the forthcoming 66th Anniversary of the Army.
The clinic was organized under the directions and supervision of Major General D.S.N.K. Senadeera, General Officer Commanding, 11 Division.
6 members of the medical staff including 3 doctors from the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps(SLAMC), together with 8 medical staff including 6 doctors from government hospitals conducted the clinic.
A total of 500 inmates received treatment from the clinic where 100 inmates were given free spectacles.
Officers and other ranks of the 11 Division contributed to the success of the clinic.
