Responding to an appeal made by the Secretary General, Sri Dalada Maligawa, Kandy-based 11 Division Headquarters of the Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) during December 15-16 carried out a Shramadana programme in the Maligawa premises in order to clean a blocked drain in the premises.
The cleaning project conducted on the directions of Major General D. S. N. K Senadheera, General Officer Commanding, 11 Division was attended by more than 100 Army troops in addition to several officers.
The two-day contribution cleared the blockade completely.
