100th Junior Instructor Course at CTS Completed

The Combat Training School (CTS) - Ampara marked its completion of the Junior Instructor Course No - 100 during a simple certificate awarding ceremony at the CTS auditorium on Friday (Mar 31).

70 male and female Non-commissioned Officers participated in the course, conducted with the intention of grooming Non-Commissioned Officers as instructors in the Army. Students in the Course are trained and tested in various aspects and the course commenced training on 09 January 2023.

Brigadier Ruwan Munipura, Commandant, CTS - Ampara, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered the closing remarks before he awarded certificates and tokens of appreciation to the course attendees.

Lance Corporal T.G.K.S Gunawardena of 1 Sri Lanka Light Infantry achieved the first in order of merits and was specially commended by the Commandant, CTS-Ampara.
