Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General Senarath Bandara on Friday (17) received a stock of 1000 more Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) overalls as a donation from the Red Cross Society in Colombo.
The Director General of the Red Cross Society, Dr Mahesh Gunasekara, the Chairman of the Red Cross Society National Headquarters, Mr Jagath Abeysinghe, the Secretary of the Red Cross Society Polonnaruwa Branch Mr Gamini Nandakumara and the Executive Officer of the Red Cross Society, Mrs. Samanthi Wijekoon during a visit to the region met the Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General Senarath Bandara and handed over the stock for distribution among Army personnel, engaged in COVID-19 control and quarantine work.
This stock is to be distributed among Civil Medical Staff and Army members, who are serving Quarantine Centers and Special Treatment Units in the Eastern Province in order to facilitate maximum number of persons with standard medical procedures. Running sneakers | NIKE
