Troops of the 613 Brigade keen in supporting the deserving families in Kamburupitiya, and patients under treatment at the ICC donated 100 packs of dry ration packs to deserving families in Kamburupitiya area on Saturday (16).
The programme was organized by 14 (V) Gemunu Watch under the guidance and instructions of the General Officer Commanding, 61 Division, Major General Dammi Hewage and Brigadier Upul Kodithuwakku.
The donations were sponsored by “Blissful Minds” organization.
Accordingly, each pack, worth of Rs 6000 were distributed among inmates at Elpitiya Igal Kanda ICC, Ruhunu National College Akmeemana ICC, Kamburupitiya village and civil employees in the Army.
Senior Officers and Other Ranks were present at the occasion.
