Troops of the 56 Division under the Security Force HQ-Wanni coordinated and organized the distribution of dry ration packs to 100 deserving families living in Bogaswewa I, Bogaswewa II, Namalgama, Salalihinigama, Nandimithragama, Kalikkulam and Madinanagar villages in the Vavuniya region after inviting those beneficiaries to the Nandimithragama Community Hall on 19 June 2022.
The 'Vishwa Samadhi' organization-based in the United Kingdom sponsored the donation at the request of the SFHQ-Wanni. Mrs. Chandima Kuruppu and Mrs. Samadhi Nanayakkara, Assistant Secretaries of 'Vishwa Samadhi' organization were present during the distribution. On the instructions of Major General Saman Liyanage, General Officer Commanding, 56 Divition, Colonel Sanjaya Perera, Commander 563 Brigade closely supervised the project for coordination and its launch with the support of his troops.
