The troops of the 10 (V) Gemunu Watch (GW) and the 5 (V) Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR) recently engaged in community service initiatives, showcasing their commitment to public welfare.
On 15 January, the troops of 10 (V) GW, in response to a request from the Kovil authority of Murungan Hindu Kovil, conducted a cleaning program at the Kovil premises.
Meanwhile, on 20 January, the troops of 5 (V) MIR conducted a Dengue prevention cleaning program at Mulankawil Hospital. With the support of the hospital staff, the troops worked tirelessly to eliminate potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
