Officers of the 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) conducted their unit presentation and live demonstration in the presence of Major General A. P. de Z Wickramaratne, Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-C) at the Battalion Headquarters, 1 SLRC in Pallekale, Kandy on Wednesday (15).
Development of the individual and the team professionalism of Army personnel, now rapidly becoming a much-needed commodity in the present day career development of both senior and junior officers in the Sri Lanka Army were on the agenda and educated the attendees on future challenges. The presentation and live demonstration touched the topic of ‘Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS)’.
General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 11 and 12 Divisions, Brigade Commanders of 111 Brigade, 121 Brigade and 122 Brigade, all Commanding Officers of under command battalions of the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) and staff officers of responsibility areas attended the presentation.
