Troops of the 1 Mechanized Infantry Regiment (1 MIR) of the 52 Infantry Division of Security Forces - Jaffna, together with civilians in Mulliyan area launched a cleaning programme in the St Sebastian Church compound in Mulliyan, Iyakkachchi on Thursday (21 Dec) ahead of X'mas.
The programme was organized under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of 1 MIR with the intention of uplifting the standards of the environment in the church premises.
