1 Corps organized an educational session on ‘Current Affairs’ at the 1 Corps premises with the participation of Officers serving at 1 Corps, its affiliated Battalions and Security Forces - Jaffna on Wednesday (31 Jan) under the directions of Major General S.B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu, Commander of 1 Corps.
Senior Journalist, Mr. Vijaya Dissanayake, Sports Director and presenter of the "Siwdesa" program on Sri Lanka Rupavahini, conducted the session on the theme ‘Concept of the New World Order and Its Implications’.
Towards the end, the Commander of 1 Corps presented a special token to the guest lecturer in appreciation of his service rendered to the organization.
