1 Corps Headquarters hosted a one-day Basic Life Support First Aid workshop at the 1 Corps Headquarters premises on 28 February 2024. Under the guidance of Major General S.B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu, the Commander, 1 Corps, the event aimed to equip personnel with essential skills in handling emergency situations.
The workshop, facilitated by a medical team from the Army Base Hospital, Kilinochchi, offered both theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations. Participants, comprising 22 Officers and 103 Other Ranks, received comprehensive training on providing assistance during critical moments.
