A Shramadana campaign was conducted by the 515 Brigade troops in Jaffna on Saturday (26) at the St. Joseph Christian Church, Alaveddi and Thayddi St. Anthony’s Church compounds in order to rid both places of garbage.
It was carried out under the directions of the 51 Division General Officer Commanding - Major General Deepal Pussella, together with the Commander 515 Brigade - Brigadier Palitha Godellawaththa.
Troops of the 10 Sri Lanka Artillery and 2 Gemunu Watch actively contributed to the ‘Shramadana’ programme under strict health guidelines.
