The Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) in order to enlighten its Officers on 'science of life' had a ‘Diner's Club’ session at the SLAVF HQ on Monday (04 December 2023) following a conceptual notion of Major General U.D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc, Commandant, SLAVF.
The Guest Speaker, Professor Mohommed Mahees extensively dwelt on the thematic topic, 'Life Challenges and Balance Personality' during the session, in which he educated the representative gathering of Army Officers on the realities of life, challenges needed to be challenged, attitudes and approaches of life, value of positive mental balance, planning and thinking, etc.
The lecture that broadened the horizons of knowledge of Army Officers enabled the attendees to interact with the Guest Speaker by way of questions and clarifications during the question and answer session.
All Senior Officers, presently serving at the SLAVF HQ and invited SLAVF Officers were associated with the arrangement.
