A full-day workshop on ‘Construction & Masonry’, meant to impart knowledge for Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs), planning to begin a new vocation after retirement, was held at the Non-Commissioned Officers Training School (NCOTS) at Kalaoya, Saliyawewa with the collaboration of Tokyo Cement Company (Ltd) on Wednesday (8).
Mr. Mouli Gunaratne, Consultant Engineer, Tokyo Cement Company offered his expertise and conducted the full-day workshop.
A total of 80 Army personnel, including troops from Divisions, Brigades and Regiments serving under Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W) and personnel who are following the course in Construction field at NCOTS, attended the workshop.
NCOTS Commandant and several senior officers were present at the inauguration.
