‘Ranaviru Real Star - Mission III’, the reality show that digs up musical and singing talents of service personnel is to enter a new phase of its final selection process with the ‘Ultimate - 12’, now competing for SMS supremacy with public support.
‘Ranaviru Real Star - Mission III’, perhaps being the one and only TV reality show that provides a platform for servicemen in the world, is now on with its third mission as a novel concept of the Secretary Defence and Urban Development Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Deviating from the routine selection process of many such programmes, those equally talented 12 finalists (Ultimate - 12) are expected to seek public support for increase of their ranking percentage, in addition to evaluation of the panel of judges to be selected for the final round from now onwards. Ranking percentage will continue on a weekly basis before seven of those 12 finalists are dropped during an undisclosed weekend after public percentage and judges’ merits are weighed.
The grand finale at Sugathadasa Stadium is scheduled towards the end of July this year after final percentages are determined through SMS voting and continuous judgments.
Winners of the Reality Show on Sri Lanka Rupavahini are to receive luxury houses, cars and valuable gifts.
