Troops serving the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C), together with 8 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC) troops organized a ‘Bodhi Pooja’ programme and a sermon on Wednesday (1) at the Mula Bodhi Kande Viharaya on account of Esala Poya Day.
Venerable Habarakada Aariyagna Thero of Kahagolla Monastery conducted the sermon. Major General Sumedha Perera afterwards offered ‘Atapirikara’ to the monk.
Major General Sumedha Perera, Commander, SFHQ-C, Commanding Officer of 8 SLASC together with many officers and other ranks participated in the programme.
