The 'Abimansala 2' at Kamburupitiya on account of Christmas had a series of programmes on Wednesday (25) with the participation of a group of eminent media personnel and several senior Army Officers.
Live radio programmes through Sihasara Internet Radio Network, horoscope reading sessions, lectures for attainment of success through ‘Samma Ditthi’, Ayurvedic treatment sessions, fund making events, special dinner offered by Kamburupitiya Sampath Bank, live singing sessions, etc entertained the inmates at the Abimansala 2 throughout the day.
Major General A.M Perera, Director Rehabilitation, Mr Vijayananda Herath, President’s Media Unit, Mr Chandrapala Liyanage, Director General, Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, Mr Sisira Munesinghe, Director Sihasara Internet Radio Network and a few others actively contributed to the day’s programme.
A total of 52 dependent War Heroes at this Wellness Resort enjoyed the day.
