A Bodhi Pooja programme was organized by the troops of the 6 Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps of the Security Forces Headquarters – Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT), on the instructions of Major General P.U.S Vithanage, Commander, SFHQ(MLT) on Nawam Full Moon Poya Day (22) in order to transfer merits on fallen War Heroes and invoke blessings on serving Army personnel of the SFHQ – MLT.
Ven. Panaliye Ariyarathana Thero, Chief Incumbent Bhikkhu at Buddangala Raja Maha Viharaya, delivered a valuable Dhamma Sermon during the “Bodhi Pooja Pinkama” held at Muladeepa Temple, SFHQ – MLT.
Major General Vithanage, together with senior officers and Army personnel of the SFHQ-MLT participated in the event.
