THE Seva Vanitha Army Branch’s (SVAB) “Brave Hearts” project that constructs the “Abimansala” (Wellness Resort) at Anuradhapura for totally disabled War Heroes received another fillip Thursday morning (17) when Seylan Bank volunteered to donate Rs 1 million towards the construction fund.
Seylan Bank Chairman Mr. Estman Narangoda, along with the General Manager Mr. Ajith Pasquel and Deputy General Manager Lioni Senevirathne donated the cheque in this connection to Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, SVAB during a brief meeting at Seylan Bank Headquarters (Seylan Tower), Colombo.
The donation is to be used for the “Abimansala” construction where 50 totally dependent War Heroes from Anuradhapura and Kurunegala Districts are to be housed for rest and recreation in the company of their family members.
