Brigadier N.G.G.S Thilakarathne (Retd) of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment passed away on 18th January 2025, following a brief illness. He was 61 years old at the time of his untimely demise. His remains will soon be placed at his residence in Gunnepana.
