    Troops of 6 SLNG Conduct Beach Cleaning Programme

    In line with the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ programme and under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, troops of the 6th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard (6 SLNG) conducted a beach cleaning programme along the Mullivaikkal coastal line on 18 February 2025, with the participation of Officers and Other Ranks.

    144 Infantry Brigade Launches Large-Scale Cleaning Programme

    The 144 Infantry Brigade, under the direction of the Commander of the Army, conducted a large-scale cleaning programme on 15th February 2025, as part of the government's Clean Sri Lanka initiative. The programme targeted key areas such as Polduwa Road, Parliament Road, Sri Lanka-Japan Friendship Road, the Thurumithiru Project area, and Diyawanna Lake.

    Troops of Security Forces (East) Inaugurate Reverse Osmosis (Ro) Plant Project for the Community

    Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P.R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, the troops of the 3rd Sri Lanka Ordnance Corps recently established a water supply project in Parakum Village on 11th February 2025, with the intention of providing purified, safe drinking water to the community. The project was financially supported by Mr. Mangala Pieris.
