Troops of the 9th Regiment of the Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) and the 3rd Regiment of the Engineer Services Regiment (ESR) successfully completed the construction of a new Dhamma School building at Sevanapitiya Sama Viharaya and handed over on 26 October 2025.

Colonel R.A.N.P. Ranaveera (Retd) passed away on 29 October 2025 after a brief illness at the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital. He was 55 years old at the time of his demise.

The event brought immense pride to the nation and the Sri Lanka Army, as the athletes secured an impressive tally of 12 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze medals.

The National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level III Certificates Awarding Ceremony for Electrician, Wood Craftsman (Building) and Construction Craftsman (Masonry) was held on 17 October 2025 at the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering (SLSME), under the supervision of Colonel J.A.C.S Jagoda psc, Commandant of SLSME.
