The National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level III Certificates Awarding Ceremony for Electrician, Wood Craftsman (Building) and Construction Craftsman (Masonry) was held on 17 October 2025 at the Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering (SLSME), under the supervision of Colonel J.A.C.S Jagoda psc, Commandant of SLSME.
Mr. K.A. Lalithadheera, Director General of the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with Brigadier C.D. Wickramanayake WV RSP ndc, Chief Field Engineer of the Army.
A total of 83 Other Ranks representing various regiments received NVQ certificates in recognition of their vocational achievements.
Mr. Manjula Vidanapathirana from the Registration, Accreditation and Q.M.S. Division of the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, along with Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks, participated in the event.
