The Sri Lanka Army Civilian Benevolent Association held its Annual Meeting at the Public Library, Colombo, on 31 October 2025. Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
Upon his arrival, the Army Chief was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Dilini Dharmadasa, President of the Sri Lanka Army Civilian Benevolent Association, together with other distinguished guests.
During the event, several scholarships were awarded to the children of civil servants to support their higher education and new board members were appointed.
Major General K.T.P. De Silva RSP ndu psc, Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army, Additional Secretaries of the Ministry of Defence, and members of the Directorate of Civil Administration also participated in the event.
