Troops Give Blood in Kebillewela

More than 25 Army personnel serving the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) on Sunday (5) joined the civilians and donated blood during an arrangement, held at Kebillewela Sri Sudarmodaya Maha Piriwena to commemorate the 14th death anniversary of late Ven Kandegedara Sumanawanshabhidana Thero, former incumbent of the temple.

Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Fores - Cen on being informed of the request to this effect instructed SFHQ-Cen troops to cooperate with the meritorious programme and donate blood for use of patients in the area.
