In order to prepare tri-service personnel of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) to meet with any eventual disasters or emergency situations, a team of professionals held an awareness workshop on ‘Disaster Management’ for 571 Brigade troops of the 57 Division on Thursday (2) at the SFHQ-KLN auditorium.
The full-day workshop, attended by a total of 45 service personnel learnt on ‘Recommended Practices in Emergencies of Floods and Droughts’ and received the support of the Disaster Management Centre (DMC). It received the blessings of the General Officer Commanding, 57 Division, Major General Vijitha Ravipriya.
