Touring Defence Experts Call at AHQ

A team of defence experts from Israel during a tour to the South Asian region called at the Army Headquarters on Wednesday (25) and had a courtesy meeting with the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS), Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana at his office.

Those delegates during their courtesy visit shared a wide-ranging of defence matters and global issues with the Sri Lanka Army delegation, comprised of Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, DCOS (representing the Commander of the Army), Major General Nilantha Hettiarachchi, Chief Signal Officer, Brigadier Prasad Akuranathilake, Director Information Technology and Colonel Suresh Pakshaweera, Commanding Officer, 12 Sri Lanka Signal Corps.

The team in two groups had separate discussions with the Army representatives.

Brigadier, D.T Gamage, Director Plans was also associated with the second meeting session.
