All members of the staff, instructors and trainees at Ampara Combat Training School (CTS), joined hands together and planted 300 saplings on Saturday (7) inside the CTS premises to coincide with the 68th Army anniversary.
The simple planting ceremony in the premises took place in the presence of the CTS Commandant, Brigadier, P.A.D Kahapola.
Meanwhile, CTS troops offered a lunch treat to 40 inmates at ‘Sarana’ Elders’ Home in Ampara on the eve of the Army Day (10).
