Udayarkattu Pre-School Opened

The Janashakthi pre-school in Udayarkattu Grama Niladari Area, which was built with the support of the State Ministry of Child Development and the High Commission of Bangladesh in Sri Lanka, was declared opened on Monday (1) by Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, General Officer Commanding, 68 Division.

Troops of 7 Gemunu Watch (GW) provided labour assistance for construction of the pre-school.

During the event, gift parcels were given away to those pre-school children.

Commanders of 681,682, 683 Brigades, Civil Affairs Officers of 68 Division and 683 Brigade, Commanding Officers of 16 Sri Lanka Artillery(SLA), 7 GW, 18 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment(VIR), 23 Sri Lanka National Guard(SLNG), Mr Marasinghe, Sub Inspector of Police, Pudukudiirippu, Mr I. Prathapan, Divisional Secretary, Pudukudiirippu and Mrs U. Munishwaram, Director, Mullaitivu Zonal Education Office attened the event.
