Major General Krishantha Gnanarathne, Commander, 1 Corps during his final official visit to the 58 Division HQ in Puttalam on Monday (12) before his retirement from the Army took time off to join the offer of a delicious lunch to the residents at ‘Lurdu Matha Elders’ Home at Palliyawatte, Kalaoya, following arrangements made on the directions of Major General Wipula Ihalage, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division.
At the end of the treat, each adult received a gift parcel, organized by 58 Division troops.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
