‘Hemas Outreach Foundation’ which came forward to help establishment of pre-schools in the Wanni region, following initiatives taken by the Wanni Commander expanded their project to reach students in the upcountry at the request of Major General Ruwan De Silva, Commander Security Forces - Central (SF-Cen) by laying a cornerstone to build a new pre-school in Bandarawela on Saturday (19).
Major General Ruwan De Silva, Commander Security Forces – Central (SF-Cen), Mr Janaka Rathnayake, Mayor of Bandarawela, Mrs Shiromi Masakorala, Executive Director ‘Hemas Outreach Foundation’, Mr Steven Enderb, Chief Executive Officer Tieidnes Group of companies of the Hemas Pvt Ltd and a group of officials attended the foundation laying ceremony at 9.40 am.
