The 1st serial of the ‘Exercise Falcon Strike I - 22/23’ of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon Joint Operations Centre (UNIFIL - JOC) got underway on 22 June 2023 with the participation of UNIFIL Force Headquarters Support Units (FHQSU) Training Branch, Indonesian Force Protection Unit (INDO FPU), Sri Lankan Force Protection Company (SLFPC), Tanzanian Military Unit (TAN MPU), UNIFIL Hospital and representatives of the UNIFIL Security Section.
The day and night Exercise focused largely on mock control of crowds, rocket shelling attack, forcible entry of unauthorized vehicles into the camp, riot control, threat scenario, etc. 4 Armoured Personnel Carriers, 20 Riot Control personnel, Radio Operators, Medical representatives and Sniffer Dogs of the SLFPC contributed to the event at their level best.
